Terapeutik Protein Dan Vaksin

Laboratorium Terapetik dan Vaksin ini bergerak dalam bidang kesehatan sebagai laboratorium yang mampu mengasilkan  kemandirian dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan protein farmasetik dengan dilakukannya riset biosimilar untuk memproduksi protein farmestik serupa. 

Laboratorium ini terletak pada satuan kerja Pusat Penelitian Bioteknologi LIPI. Dibentuk berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Kepala Pusat Penelitian Bioteknologi Nomor 1007IPH.2/HK.01.03/VII/2014

Laboratorium ini didukung oleh tenaga peneliti dan teknisi yang kompeten serta fasilitas laboratorium yang cukup lengkap.

Menjadi center of excellence dalam penelitian dan pengembangan biosimilar di Indonesia


MISI:

  • Melakukan translational research dalam bidang terapetik protein dan vaksin
  • Melakukan penelitian yang berintegrasi dengan industri biofarmasi
  • Melakukan pengembangan obat biosimilar dan vaksin yang bermuara pada produkkomersial.

Mengembangkan produk terapeutik protein (Biosimilar) dan vaksin berbasis teknologi rekombinan DNA (Biologi Molekuler)

Mengembangkan produk terapetik protein yang berbasis Biosimillar dan vaksin yang berbasis teknologi rekombinan DNA. 

 

Protein terapetik yang sedang dikembangkan untuk menjadi produk biosimilar tersebut antara lain : recombinant human erythropoetin (rhEPO) dan recombinant human interferon (rhIFN alpha 2a) serta insulin yang sedang dalam proes pengerjaan.

Kegiatan Penelitian :

1. Pengembangan penelitian biosimilar berupa produksi protein hEPO skala lab yang kemudian akan diteruskan untuk skala industri.

2. Pengembangan penelitian biosimilar berupa produksi interferon skala lab yang kemudian akan diteruskan untuk skala industri.

3. Pengembangan penelitian biosimilar berupa insulin, yang saat ini dalam proses pengerjaan. 

 

Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh pada Laboratorium ini adalah :

1. Produk yang telah didapatkan berupa prototipe sel erithropoetin yang diproduksi di sel mamalia CHO DG44.  Prototipe ini sedang dikembangkan bersama dengan Biofarma untuk dapat diproduksi sekala industri.

2. Strain Pichia pastoris rekombinan penghasil interferon alfa-2a manusia protein fusi dan non fusi, sebanyak 3 buah.

3. Plasmid penyandi protein interferon alfa-2a manusia non fusi dan fusi sebanyak 2 buah.

4. Protein rekombinan interferon alfa-2a manusia non fusi dan fusi sebanyak 2 jenis.

5. Plasmid rekombinan pPIC9K+OMP-SOD, plasmid rekombinan pET32b+OMP-SOD, klon transforman Pichia pastoris KM71, klon transforman E. coli BL21(DE3), protein rekombinan fusi OMP-SOD.

6. Protein, Culture of Stable Cell Line CHO DG 44 Producing Recombinant Human Erythropoietin (rhEPO).
